In honor of Chicanx Latinx Heritage Month and the legacy of Dolores Huerta (co-founder of the United Farm Workers and civil rights feminist Chicana leader), please join us for a screening of the documentary film, DOLORES. The film presents the life struggles and accomplishments of Dolores Huerta, a Chicana activist and leader who has committed her life to service for social justice. Prior to the film screening, Dolores Huerta will appear via live video feed for a Q&A with the audience. This event is co-sponsored by the Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS), the WGSS Student Club, the Department of Chicana/o Latina/o Studies, the Center for the Study of Genders and Sexualities, and the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
