My name is Violet Salcido, I work in the Office of Faculty Affairs, and my supervisor’s name is Dr. Michael Caldwell. I am interested in serving as a Staff Senator. I am currently the recording secretary for the Faculty Policy Committee, and I enjoy learning about faculty policies. As the Faculty Affairs Analyst, I get many questions regarding policies. If I were to be on the Academic Senate, I would learn more and it would improve my knowledge. Therefore, I would be able to better help faculty and staff.
