Welcome to the Department
I am very pleased to welcome you to the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance here at California State University, Los Angeles. We have designed the theatre and dance programs to prepare you for success in traditional, contemporary and emerging fields. Your success begins with individual advisement with a MTD adviser and continues with close personal contact with the faculty and staff.
This guidebook is designed to make your experience here at Cal State LA very positive. It will provide you with all essential information toward successful completion of your degree. If you have additional questions or concerns that are not addressed in this handbook, however, please feel free to contact me or any other faculty member of the department. We will do our best to assist you.
