Eddy Boror

Eddy Boror, a first-generation Latino native of Los Angeles, struggled academically during his early years. In 2014, he made the significant choice to enlist in the U.S. Air Force in search of direction. He was a member of the 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron Convoy Response Force (CRF) at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota for six years. The CRF team has the important task of guarding and controlling convoys carrying nuclear weapons to and from Minot Air Force Base for the United States ICBM nuclear missile silos.

In 2019, Eddy's dedication to self-improvement led him to leave the Air Force and enroll at East Los Angeles Community College. There, he pursued an Associate in Science for Transfer degree. Despite past academic challenges, he excelled, consistently maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher and earning a place on the honor and dean's lists. In the fall of 2022, Eddy continued his academic journey at Cal State LA, focusing on a bachelor's degree in computer information systems.

His commitment to education and excellence remains unwavering, setting him on a trajectory to graduate in the summer of 2024. Eddy is contemplating continuing his education at Cal State LA to earn his Master of Science in Business Administration (MS BA).
