University-Student Union: Alumni Center
The Alumni Center, tucked away in the University-Student Union building, is where you will find the CSULA Alumni Association. The Association is a bridge between life as a student and life after graduation, providing a link to the career world when you are on campus and a connection to Cal State L.A. once you have graduated. There are also invaluable opportunities for career networking, building friendships and giving back to the school and your community here.
Have you heard of the Boeing Company? Well, the CFO and former interim CEO/President James Bell, is a Cal State L.A. alumnus. The real-life star of the movie Stand and Deliver, Jaime Escalante? He got his bachelor's in mathematics here. Los Angeles muralist Kent Twitchell? He's an alumnus of the art program. And women's tennis pro, Billie Jean King? She calls Cal State L.A. her alma mater too.
