Regional dignitaries, media outlets and others explore impact of election results during PBI’s 20th Annual California Policy Issues Conference

California Senate President pro Tem Darrell Steinberg to keynote event

WHAT:             To explore the impact of the upcoming election on immigrant communities, governance reform, higher education, and health care, the Pat Brown Institute (PBI) will gather media representatives, education leaders and others on Friday, Nov. 16, at Cal State L.A. (CSULA) during its 20th Annual California Policy Issues Conference entitled Election 2012: Politics & Policy.

The keynote speaker will be California Senate President pro Tem Darrell Steinberg.

AGENDA:         The conference will begin at 7:30 a.m. with registration and a continental breakfast, followed at 8:30 a.m. with a “Morning Welcome” from PBI Executive Director Raphael Sonenshein and CSULA Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Ashish Vaidya.
