Traffic Advisory:

Friday afternoon, June 15, 2012; and Saturday morning, June 16, 2012
Interchange of 10 and 710 freeways, near Cal State L.A.

Cal State L.A. Commencement ceremonies this weekend – beginning Friday at 5 p.m., Saturday at 8 a.m.

Expect heavy traffic Friday afternoon on June 15, beginning at 3 p.m. near the 10 and 710 freeways, as roughly 20,000 graduates and guests arrive at Cal State L.A.’s graduation ceremony, which begins at 5 p.m. Expect possible slowing near the Eastern Avenue exit off the San Bernardino (10) freeway in both directions. There may also be backup at the Ramona and Valley Blvd. exits off of the 710 freeway.

Cal State L.A. will hold the second of its two Commencement ceremonies Saturday, June 16, starting at 8 a.m. Traffic will be heavy beginning around 7 a.m.
