The King Hall Replacement Project is a unique opportunity for the Cal State LA community to participate in the visualization of a structure that will be built from the ground up. Hearing from students, faculty, and staff from the departments and colleges currently housed in King Hall and from all across campus is a critical part of the envisioning of the new space. We welcome your thoughts, suggestions, and feedback, and invite you to consider the following questions when submitting your input below.
- What types of spaces are missing or are there not enough of on campus?
- What type of space outside the classroom is most important to you?
- What type of space would draw you to this new building?
- What’s the most important aspect of the King Hall Replacement Project?
- How can physical spaces support innovative and transformational delivery of courses and instruction?
- How can flexible spaces use technology to support other campus activities and needs, aside from instruction?
- What are nontraditional uses of the space that should be considered? Example: food service,
- What does a successful project of this type look like? How will we know if our new building is a success?
