INTRODUCTION
Dr. Doyle-Nichols is a professor in the Division of Applied and Advanced Studies in Education. She started teaching at Cal State LA in 1990 and teaches courses in the Educational Technology Leadership and the E-Learning and New Media Design MA options in Education. She also teaches courses in the Graduate Certificate Program in Online Teaching and Learning and Computer Applications in Schools.
Before teaching at the university level, Dr. Doyle-Nichols taught Band and Orchestra for fifteen years in South East Los Angeles.
TEACHING INTERESTS
Currently she enjoys teaching web design, developing curriculum for the web, mobile web, augmented reality, virtual reality, elearning, authoring tools, troubleshooting computer problems, networking and computer hardware. Dr. Doyle-Nichols also has an interest in digital photography and digital movie editing.
RESEARCH
Dr. Doyle-Nichols' research interests include virtual reality, augmented reality, educational technology, elearning and integrating technology into teacher education.
