WE ARE LA: COMMUNITY WEEKEND
CicLAvia: Adopt-An-Intersection


Be part of the action! Cal State LA is adopting the intersection of 4th Street and St. Louis Street in Boyle Heights during CicLAvia: Heart of LA—and we need volunteers to make it a success.  

As a volunteer, you’ll help create a safe, welcoming space for thousands of Angelenos moving through the route. Duties include:

  • Guiding participants through the crossing and slow/dismount zone
  • Directing the flow of bikes, walkers, and skaters at the intersection
  • Welcoming neighbors and answering questions about CicLAvia and Cal State LA
  • Sharing Golden Eagle pride—cheering on participants and handing out Cal State LA materials

This is a hands-on opportunity to show that Cal State LA is in and of the city—standing alongside our neighbors in Boyle Heights and celebrating Los Angeles together. Sign up below to join us.
