The Rising Golden Eagle Award celebrates a student employee who consistently demonstrates commitment and care in their daily responsibilities. This award honors individuals who bring a professional heart and a dedicated spirit to their work, directly supporting the success of our faculty, staff, our students, and the daily operations of our campus.
We are looking for students who lead by example and take deep pride and spirit in their institution. These individuals represent the next generation of career-centered professionals, demonstrating that the skills and dedication they apply at Cal State LA today are the foundation for their success tomorrow.
The recipient of the Rising Golden Eagle Award for the fiscal year 2024-2025 (July 2024 - June 2025) will be announced during the Employee Recognition and Service Awards Celebration on April 10, 2026. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, be in good academic standing, and have been employed during the qualifying fiscal year.
Using the criteria below as guidelines, please provide any specific activities or job-related endeavors in which the nominee has participated, as well as why you feel this individual should receive the Rising Golden Eagle Award for 2024-2025. Please provide as many details as possible. There is no limit to the number of people who may nominate an employee.
All nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. on March 18, 2026 (extended date).
