The Transformative Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
on Multidisciplinary Core Information Systems Curriculum
Dr. Nanda Ganesan will briefly share his journey across six countries, tracing the evolution of his research from designing databases, websites, and e-learning systems to curriculum development. He will reflect on his experience in curriculum development as a faculty member and department chair to highlight the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the multidisciplinary Information Systems curriculum, showcasing how AI empowers the development of functional information systems, such as websites and visual decision-making models, with minimal or no coding required. This underscores the importance of integrating AI-driven technologies into curricula to make advanced information system development accessible to all, regardless of their programming expertise and Information Technology (IT) background.
