Community Partner Directory

The Center for Engagement, Service, and the Public Good works with community organizations across Greater Los Angeles.

Volunteering with a partner organization is also a way to gain practical experience in your field of study. Students in psychology volunteer at counseling centers. Students in public health volunteer at community clinics. Students in education tutor in local classrooms. Most areas of study have a corresponding partner.

Use this directory to find organizations whose work relates to your major or your interests. Each listing shows what the organization does, how the placement is arranged, and where to find their volunteer information.

How to connect with a partner

Step One

Find a partner

Select an area that matches your interests, then open an organization to see what it does and the work your service would support.

Step Two

Make contact

Contact the organization using the information in its listing. State that you are a Cal State LA student and what you are looking for: a placement for a service-learning course, a single-day volunteer event, ongoing volunteer experience related to your major, or an internship.
