Film Screening: "The People in Blue"

As part of Second Chance Month, Cal State LA’s Prison Graduation Initiative (PGI) will host a special screening of The People in Blue on Thursday, April 9, at 8 p.m. in the Luckman Theatre. Directed by Louis Sāle and produced by a crew of incarcerated filmmakers, The People in Blue was a curated selection of the second annual San Quentin Film Festival. This screening marks a historic milestone, as it will be the first time the film will be presented outside of a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation facility. The event is free to the public and held in conjunction with the 3rd Annual PGI Convening.
