3rd Annual Prison Graduation Initiative Convening

Cal State LA will host the 3rd Annual Prison Graduation Initiative Convening on Thursday, April 9, centered on the theme “Second Chance in Action: Education, Policy, Possibility.” The event will feature a resource fair, a legislative panel moderated by Judge Songhai Armstead (ret.), and the world premiere of The People in Blue, a documentary directed by Louis Sāle. The event is free to the public; however, space is limited for the legislative panel and film screening. 

3–6 p.m.: Resource Fair 
7 p.m.: Legislative Panel  
8 p.m.: Film Screening
