Please take the following parking information into consideration when planning a visit to Cal State LA:
Cal State LA’s Parking Services is a self-supporting entity that does not receive state general funds to operate, maintain, and construct new parking facilities. All visitors not performing state business MUST pay to park on campus.
All vehicles parked on campus must have a valid Cal State LA parking permit registered to the license plate number at ALL TIMES.
Event Parking Locations
Event Parking can be purchase throught the Parking Portal, The PayByPhone App, or at the Pay Stations.
Rates are $20 per day. This rate includes the LA City Parking Occupancy Tax and applies on specific weekdays and Fridays after 4 PM through Sunday.
Note: Event rates may apply to other parking locations throughout the campus during events.
Event Parking Lots are:
- Structure B – All Levels
- Structure C - Top Level
- Structure E - All Levels
- Paseo Rancho Castilla
- Lot 5
- Lot 10

General Visitors
Persons visiting during non-event times, who do not have an annual, semester, or 30-day permit, may purchase a daily permit through the PayByPhone App, or at pay stations.
- Lot 4A located by the Administration building (1-hour max purchase through the PayByPhone App, or at the pay stations only)
- Student Union Lot (1-hour max purchase through the PayByPhone App, or at the pay stations only)
- Lot 1A (only after 4 pm)
- Lot 2
- Lot 3 (only after 5:30 pm)
- Lot 5
- Parking Structure A (All Levels)
- Parking Structure B (C Level)
- Parking Structure B (B Level After 5:30 pm only)
- Parking Structure C (Yellow Level)
- Parking Structure D (All Levels)
- Parking Structure E (All Levels)

- 1 hour (Lot 4A and Student Union Lot only) - $4
- All Day - $13
- 2-Wheel - $5
Note: Fees listed include the LA City Parking Occupancy Tax. Students receive a discounted all-day rate from their Parking Portal
