While many of us may be considering the coming millennium as an end date, the Luckman Gallery looks beyond with a group exhibition of young, Los Angeles based artists whose works speculate about what our future may or may not hold. This group reading features the loud voices of LA-based Chicana/o poets. Liz Gonzalez has published her poetry in such anthologies as Grand Passion: The Poets of Los Angeles and Beyond, and in numerous poetry journals. Linda Gamboa made her poetic debut in July 1994 and has since been featured in more than 100 readings, performances, and lectures.
