Cal State L.A. Presents
The North American Saxophone Alliance
Regions 2 Convention

What & Who:
The Music Department at California State University, Los Angeles will host "The North American Saxophone Alliance Region 2 Convention," featuring performances, clinics and workshops by premiere saxophonists from throughout a seven-state region. Performers for the evening also include Jim Rotter, Dan Goble, the Orion Saxophone Quartet and the Cal State L.A. Wind Ensemble.

When:
Friday, Jan. 29, 8 p.m.
An evening of jazz featuring The Music of Saxology, the Cal State L.A. Jazz Orchestra, Gary Fosters and Alan Broadbent.

Saturday, Jan. 30, 8 p.m.
An evening of classical saxophone featuring Darius Milhaud's Creation Du Monde, Steve Reich's New York Counterpoint, William Albight's Heater, and William Colgrass' Urban Requiem.

Where:
Cal State L.A. State Playhouse. The University is located at the Eastern Avenue exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Freeway, at the interchange of 10 and 710 Freeways. Public (permit dispenser parking) available in Lots C or G , and upper level of north Parking Structure II.
