PresentsNASA Science Ambassadors' Science Expo 1998 What & Who:Six hundred children from 4th to 7th grade will be participating in the fun and educational NASA Science Amabassadors' Science Expo at Cal State L.A., as part of the Teaching for Scientific Literacy Among Preadolescent Minority Students and The Science Ambassadors Distance Learning Project. When:Saturday, May 30, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Where:Cal State L.A. Lot A. The University is located at the Eastern Avenue exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Freeway, at the interchange of the 10 and 710 Freeways. Activities:Children from Los Angeles County, along with their family members, will engage in hands-on scientific investigations that have been learned in their classrooms. The Expo is presented to attract students underrepresented in the fields of science, math and technology. More:The Expo is sponsored by the Cal State L.A.
