CAL STATE L.A. SYMPOSIUM
EXAMINES LATEST RESEARCH
ON CHEMICALS IN THE ATMOSPHERE

What & Who:
California State University, Los Angeles will be hosting the 16th Annual Symposium on Kinetic and Photochemical Processes in the Atmosphere, to bring together leading researchers in the area of atmospheric chemistry from the Southern California region.

When:
Thursday, February 18, 1999, registration: 8 a.m.; program: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Where:
Cal State L.A. University-Student Union. The University is located at the Eastern Ave. exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Fwy., at the interchange of the 10 and 710 Fwys. Public (permit dispenser) parking is available in the Lots C and G, or the upper level of north Parking Structure II.

More: This is the first time that this symposium has been held at a CSU campus; in the past it has been hosted by such institution as Caltech, UC Riverside, UC Irvine and UC San Diego. The meeting will combine oral presentations with a day-long poster session.

Symposium presenters include Stan Sander, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology; D.M. Golden, SRI International, Menlo Park, CA; Roger Atkinson, UC Riverside; W.R. Stockwell, Desert Research Institute, Reno, NV; Ray Wells, Air Force Research Laboratory, Tyndall Air Force Base, FL; and more.
