Cal State L.A. to Hold
Instant Admission Day on Nov. 18

What & Who:
California State University, Los Angeles will hold an Instant Admission Day for all *qualified high school seniors. The day's activities include a tour of campus, raffles every 15 minutes, lunch for each applicant, and close-up view of the national champion solar car, Cal State L.A.'s Solar Eagle III.

When:
Saturday, November 18, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Where:
Cal State L.A. University-Student Union. The University is located at the Eastern Ave. exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Fwy., at the interchange of the 10 and 710 Fwys. (Public permit dispenser parking is available in Lots C and G or upper level of Parking Structure II.)

More:
*To qualify for "instant admission" for the fall quarter 2001 at Cal State L.A., students must have at least a 2.8 GPA and meet CSU College Preparatory Subject Requirements. In addition, students must bring an application processing fee and a completed CSU application. Students with a GPA between 2.80 and 2.99 must bring copies of SAT I/ACT scores. (Copies of "green card" or other immigration information for both the students and their parents are required for non-U.S. citizens.) Students may check with their college counselors for admission applications, or go to www.csumentor.edu.
