What & Who: The Art Department at California State University, Los Angeles will host its tenth annual fashion show, "Fashion Montage." The show will feature garments designed by Cal State L.A. students in the Fashion and Textile Option in the Department of Art. Thirteen designers are participating in the show and there are approximately 80 garment designs for men, women and children.
When: Sat., May 19, 2001, 7 p.m.
Where: Cal State L.A. Music Hall. The University is located at the Eastern Avenue exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Fwy., at the interchange of the 10 and 710 Fwys. Public permit dispenser parking is available in Lots C and G, or upper level of Parking Structure II.
More: The Fashion and Textiles Program is an option in the Cal State L.A. Art Department. Three specializations are available in the Fashion and Textiles Program: Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising and Textiles. Students who complete the B.A. program work in the apparel and textiles industry as assistant designers, retail managers, and sales representatives.
