Cal State L.A. Celebrates 1998 Earth Week

What:
Cal State L.A. will host a week of events to celebrate Earth Week 1998.

When:
Monday, April 20-Thursday, April 24, 1998.

Where:
Cal State L.A. is located at the Eastern Ave. exit, San Bernardino Freeway, at the interchange of the 10 and 710 freeways. Public permit dispenser parking is available in Lots C and G, and North Parking Structure II. Special Events:
Information Fair - Mother Earth Celebration.
Tue., Apr. 21, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. University-Student Union Walkway & Free Speech Area.
Learn about what others are doing to save the planet, and get information about volunteer opportunities.

Lecture - "Global Warming: Can Industrial Man Be to Blame?"
Tue., Apr. 21, 4:30 p.m. Physical Sciences, room 211.
Visiting speaker: William Travers, professor of Geology, Cornell University. Professor Travers has undertaken a critical examination of global environmental phenomena and his talk on global warming is an outgrowth of that examination. Sponsored by the Geology Club and the Geography Club.
