Cal State L.A. Alumni Association Awards Fifteen Scholarships

Los Angeles, CA -- The Alumni Association at California State University, Los Angeles recently announced that 15 Cal State L.A. students were selected as recipients of scholarships for the Spring Quarter. Scholarships were presented at the Cal State L.A.'s Alumni Scholarship Luncheon on Sunday, April 29, 2001.

The recipients of the Alumni Association Scholarship are: Jean S. Bogart, Computer Science, Spring 2003, Torrance, CA; Rebecca C. Boggs, Music, Spring 2002, Inyokern, CA; Teresita J. The criteria for the 2000-2001 Alumni Association Scholarships are a minimum 2.5 G.P.A., currently enrolled status, junior or senior class level, and campus and/or community involvement.

The awards are available through alumni donations and fundraising programs. The Association is encouraging alumni and friends of the University to contribute to this important scholarship program.
