We invite you to join us as we continue our monthly community-building gatherings to recognize History/Heritage Months, Religious Holidays, and raise awareness around social identity and community issues. Enjoy small bites, good conversation, and a chance to explore the University Library's vibrant collection of works for February.
The book display for Black History Month will be available at the Library’s 2nd Floor Reading Lounge.
The PASRC Black History Month Flea Market is a campuswide celebration focused on supporting Black-owned and student-run businesses. The event will feature Black vendors from across Los Angeles, student vendors, live performances, giveaways, food trucks, and music—creating an intentional space to buy Black and celebrate Black excellence on campus.
Welcome to The Love Lab — an honest space to experiment, explore, and test out what makes relationships actually healthy. Join Peace Over Violence for real talk about communication, boundaries, red flags, and what respect looks like—whether you’re dating, talking, or just figuring it out. RSVP required.
Join us for a discussion and Q&A with WALDA KATZ-FISHMAN, scholar activist and professor of sociology at Howard University, and JEROME SCOTT, a former autoworker, labor organizer in Detroit auto plants, and member of the League of Revolutionary Black Workers. Motown and the Making of Working-Class Revolutionaries: The Story of the League of Revolutionary Black Workers offers a fresh perspective on class, race, and revolution in the United States.
Join the PASRC and CLSRC in playing Loteria, a traditional Mexican board game of chance, similar to bingo.
