LEAD Series are workshops designed for students to cultivate leadership, enrichment, advocacy, and personal development. There will be 6 workshops each semester, a total of 12 workshops for the academic year. Each workshop will provide free food for students!

This workshop is designed to introduce participants to IBM SPSS Statistics 29 and the basics of descriptive data analysis. This workshop will cover research stages, creating a data file, defining variables, entering data, running descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, crosstabs, and manipulating data using the Select Cases and Split File functions. Participants will learn how to analyze survey data, update data using the Find and Replace function, and report results by copying tables and graphs from SPSS into a document.
