This event provides students with a cultural understanding of Dia de los Muertos. It will offer participants background on the contemporary Indigenous, Chicana/o/x, Mexican, and other Latin American Countries celebrations of the Day of the Dead or Día De Los Muertos.

Donors will receive free snacks plus their choice of a limited-edition T-shirt or In-N-Out gift card.

When donating, be sure to:

• Bring a photo ID
• Be in good health
• Weigh at least 110 lbs.
• Eat a good meal and drink extra water
• Be at least 17 years old
• A 16-year-old may donate if they have a signed
parent consent form and weigh at least 135 lbs.

Cal State LA is designated by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk to serve as a Vote Center for the Statewide Special Election. The Cal State LA Vote Center will be open to the campus and surrounding communities from Saturday, Nov. 1, through Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
