Jazz at Lincoln Center presents Songs We Love a journey through the first 50 years of jazz. Since its inception over three decades ago, Jazz at Lincoln Center has been a leading advocate for jazz, culture, and arts education. The LEAD Series is a series of workshops designed for students to cultivate their leadership, enrichment, advocacy, and personal development. These workshops will be held twice a month, encompassing different topics to help students reach their full potential. Prizes and food will be given out at all LEAD Series events!
This LEAD Series workshop will focus on small victories, capacity, and transferable skills to help students celebrate and market their own achievements.

Dr. J. Luke Wood is an American social scientist, author, and a distinguished professor of education at San Diego State University. Dr. Wood’s research and practice agenda focus on advancing diversification and equity initiatives at schools, colleges, and universities.
