The PASRC Black History Month Flea Market is a campus-wide celebration focused on supporting Black-owned and student-run businesses. The event will feature Black vendors from across Los Angeles, student vendors, live performances, giveaways, food trucks, and music—creating an intentional space to buy Black and celebrate Black excellence on campus.

This Black History Month virtual series is hosted by the Department of Pan-African Studies at Cal State LA.
Being a leader today means creating spaces where everyone feels seen, valued, and included. In this workshop, students will explore what it means to be culturally responsive and how our identities show up in the work we do. Through interactive activities and real examples, participants will learn practical ways to understand diverse perspectives, avoid cultural assumptions, and uplift the voices of others. This session will help students grow as leaders who listen first, act with care, and create welcoming environments wherever they go.
