I warmly invite you to join me for this year’s State of the University Address, a special moment for our campus community to come together, reflect, and look ahead.
This gathering is particularly meaningful to me, as it will be my first opportunity to share a comprehensive vision for Cal State LA, one that is grounded in our shared values and inspired by the remarkable progress we have made together.
Over the past year, we have achieved so much as a community. From advancing student success and expanding opportunity, to strengthening our partnerships across Los Angeles, your dedication and commitment continue to shape the future of this University in powerful ways. This event is an opportunity to celebrate those collective accomplishments and recognize the impact of our work.
I will also share a forward-looking perspective on where we are headed, building on our momentum and outlining the priorities that will guide us in the years ahead.

Following the address, I hope you will join us for a campus gathering and celebration from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. on the Luckman Street of the Arts, where we will enjoy food and refreshments as we honor our achievements and look ahead with excitement and purpose.
