Join us for a series of events presented by Cal State LA faculty and the Cross Cultural Centers that highlight the stories, challenges and triumphs of women in the U.S. and around the world. Afshin Matin, professor of Modern Middle East History HIST 4460, will be leading a discussion on the film Persepolis, which is based on Marjane Satrapi's graphic novel of growing up in post-revolutionary Iran of the 1980s.
