Teatro Chicana

In the early 70s, a group of Chicana students at San Diego State University came together to create a women's theatre group, Teatro Chicana, to express their voices as activists in the Chicano Movement. In this panel you will hear about their struggles and achievements--and how their involvement in the medium of political theatre empowered them throughout their life.
