Description
Through first-person narratives, Nana Dijo explores and affirms the black-Latinx experience in Mexico, Honduras, Uruguay, Argentina, and the United States. Moving beyond exoticizing images of the Afro-Latinx community, the film delves into colonized psyches, pushes boundaries, and challenges conservative discourses about the community. Directed by Bocafloja & Cambiowashere. 2015. 40 minutes.
