Dear World, an internationally recognized storytelling and portrait project, has visited college campuses across the nation and provides an opportunity for each member of our campus community to share their own personal story. We invite you to watch this 120-second video, which captures the powerful messages and impact of their work.
This event is a great opportunity for us to come together to celebrate the unique story of our Cal State LA community. All students, faculty and staff are invited to participate on Oct. 4 between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the John F. Kennedy Memorial Library, North, 1st Floor Lobby, to share their message by having their photo taken by Dear World. Cal State LA IDs will be required to participate.
The celebration continues at 7 p.m. on Oct. 4, in the University-Student Union Theatre. All Cal State LA community members are invited to attend the Dear World Photo Reveal and Storytelling Event. This evening finale will reflect the powerful individual and collective stories of our campus.
