How would our view of literature and art change if we took “attachment” as a defining concept? This talk by Rita Felski of the University of Virginia focuses on two common aesthetic ties. The focus is on what carries weight in our experience of art: the significance and salience of ties. Reception before the lecture in the Cross Cultural Centers starting at 4:15 p.m.
