Description
A workshop led by Felicia “Fe” Montes, of Mujeres de Maiz, offers participants background on the contemporary Indigenous/ Chicana/o/x, Mexican and Latinx celebrations of the Day of the Dead or Día de los Muertos. Participants will be introduced to key elements that create an altar and leave with an idea on how they can construct their own altar or art piece dedicated to their deceased loved ones and ancestors.
