Dr. Cristobal Salinas, Jr., faculty fo the College of Education at Florida Atlantic University, explores how Latino males make meaning of their experiences in the field of education and their socialization into the academy. He introduces the Crossover Capital Framework, which explores Latino males crossing psychological, emotional, and (visible and invisible) geographical borderlands within their community, peers, education, and their own understandings of their social identities.
