To continue its yearlong 10th anniversary celebration, the Honors College will host “COVID as a Catalyst for Transformation,” an interactive forum featuring distinguished Honors College and Early Entrance Program alumni panelists who will draw on their varied professional and personal experiences to reflect on the future in light of our recent experiences with COVID. The panelists will cover a range of topics such as the impact of COVID-19 on the medical, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries; and the interwoven issues of social justice, education and economic and constitutional implications. Audience members will have the opportunity to submit questions to help foster a dynamic conversation.
The host and moderator for the forum will be Trinh Pham, Ph.D., former director for the Honors College and current associate dean of the newly formed College of Ethnics Studies at Cal State LA.
This special event will be held via Zoom Webinar and will be closed captioned. Additional details will be provided upon registration. Please email [email protected] with any questions.
Please register for the event by February 23.
