Description
This interactive two-hour training is designed to introduce Cal State LA faculty and staff to intergroup dialogue concepts such as:
- Empathy building;
- Active listening;
- Conflict resolution; and
- Personal and social media based communication.
Facilitated by Dr. Anna M. Yeakley, coordinator of the Intergroup Relations Program at UCLA, participants will learn how to use student-centered skills and approaches essential to interpersonal communication, dialogue, and group dynamics while cultivating a culture of respect and inclusivity on campus.
