The U.S. Supreme Court declared section 4 of the Voting Rights Act unconstitutional on June 25, 2013, allowing states to enact voter ID laws and other processes that may discourage young people, people of color, and other marginalized groups from exercising their right to vote. Join us at our quarterly Black Talk to discuss these voter suppression tactics and other issues affecting the community.
