2018 CAA's MFA Exhibition "Sustainability and Public Good"

Description

The exhibition features current MFA students' work from 11 different MFA programs in northern and southern California. Twenty MFA students were carefully selected by five invited eminent Los Angeles Galleries (Corrina Peipon, The Pit & The Pit II, Eden Phair, HONOR FRASER, HK Zamani, PØST, Mary Leigh Cherry, Cherry and Martin, Peter Mendenhall, and Peter Mendenhall Gallery).

The curators of the exhibition, Mika Cho and Kim Abeles, are pleased to represent the College Art Association, CAA, one of the largest associations nationally and internationally for art, art history and studio arts professionals, which promotes the highest levels of creativity and scholarship in the practice, teaching, and interpretation of the arts. The 2018 CAA Annual Conference in Los Angeles from February 21-24, expects more than 5,000 attendees from all over the world. A free public reception will be held Feb. 23 from 5-9 p.m.
