Jennifer “Jenn” Swartz is the Vice President of Treasury and Culture at California Bioenergy, where she has been a driving force since joining as the company’s first employee in 2009. In her treasury role, Jenn leads grant strategy and financial operations for a complex, rapidly growing enterprise. She has overseen more than 30 active and completed CAEATFA Sales and Use Tax Exclusion projects—representing over $445 million in qualified property, $200 million in purchases, and over $17 million in STE savings—each supporting family-owned dairy farms and their surrounding communities. These projects enable the production of clean energy from dairy waste, improve local air and water quality, and contribute directly to California’s climate and renewable energy objectives.
As head of Culture, Jenn champions initiatives that strengthen company values, foster professional growth, and cultivate an environment of trust and collaboration. Known for her strategic insight, steady leadership, and genuine care for people, she bridges business rigor with humanity. Jenn holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Governors University and brings over two decades of accounting and finance experience, continually shaping CalBio’s mission and success.
