Description
This year's theme is “Congo, Sudan, and Imperialism Today.” We have a powerful lineup of scholars, activists, and organizers who will discuss the ongoing crises in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan. Panels will explore the historical and contemporary roots of violence and genocide in both countries, as well as the connections between these struggles and those in Iran, Venezuela, Haiti, and other global sites of imperial intervention.
Community members, students, colleagues, and classes are warmly invited to attend this free public event.
