Rapid climate change and rampant exploitation of Earth’s resources demand humane, forward-looking solutions. Professor David Blekhman will highlight Cal State LA’s leadership in sustainable energy through hydrogen innovation, solar and clean transportation research, collaboration with the industry, international partnerships, and workforce development—evolving with the global hydrogen industry itself. It is sprinkled with personal stories and references inspired by proximity to the film industry. Blekhman is the recipient of the 2025 President's Distinguished Professor Award.
