The Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) Systems is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive, women-only course, which begins with awareness, prevention, rick reduction and risk avoidance, as well as the basics of hands-on defense training. R.A.D. is not a Martial Arts program. The courses are taught by nationally certified R.A.D. Instructors and provide each student with a workbook/reference manual. The course includes lecture, discussion and self-defense techniques, suitable for women of all ages and abilities. The basic physical defense program consist of two sessions lasting six hours each, for a total of twelve hours of instruction including a dynamic simulation. Each session will have a one hour lunch break (please note that lunch will not be provided). Please note that girls under the age 13 may not participate due to adult-themed subject matter.
If you are between the ages of 13 -17, please print the RAD parental consent form, have it signed by a parent/guardian and bring it to the first day of class.
