The Desktop Service Software (DSS) is the base installation on University computers. The DSS is preconfigured to work with the campus infrastructure, and includes the operating system, productivity, security, and licensed software (e.g. Microsoft Office) appropriate for a particular machine.
DSS is available for staff, faculty, and lab (student image) Windows PCs. Please contact your ITC if you would like to update your machine to a new DSS.

Software for faculty and staff machines. DSS 6.7 includes Mac OS X Snow Leopard. DSS 6.7 is available for all intel-based Mac's.

DSS 6.8 Open Access Lab Software
Software for ITS supported machines in the Open Access Lab's. There are computer labs on campus that are available for all students.
