Norvell Thomas joined the CBE in 2015 as a lecturer in the Management Department. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri where he studied advertising and public relations. In 2005, he graduated from Claremont Graduate University with his MBA. He recently finished coursework for his Ph.D. in Political Science and International Studies with an emphasis in Computation Analytics at Claremont Graduate University.
Being a lecturer is Norvell’s favorite job. He states that knowing he can have a big impact on students’ lives by helping to shape their world views and inspire them to greatness is what he really loves about teaching.
Norvell believes that people worry too much about the day-to-day things. He likes to remind himself to live in the present. He states that “you never really know where life is going to lead.” Norvell wants people to trust in themselves, trust their process, and keep moving forward.
