Beth Yuan graduated with a BA in International Relations from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA from Cal State LA. With over 15 years of experience at Cal State LA, Beth worked in both Extended Education and Admissions before becoming an academic advisor in the CBE. For the past seven years, Beth has taken immense pride in her role as an advisor, helping students reach their academic and professional endeavors.
While she has volunteered at both the Billie Jean King & Friends Event and the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, Beth’s passion lies in helping students and learning from them and the CBE professors.
When Beth is not working, she enjoys reading, traveling, and learning. Most people would never know that Beth loves nature so much that she hopes to someday own a farm with tons of horses and dogs and travel to different destinations with incredible national parks, including Alaska, New Zealand, and Australia.
