Bachelor of Arts Degree in Television, Film and Media Studies
The program leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Television, Film and Media Studies emphasizes both theoretical understanding and practical application. This major offers two interdisciplinary options:
(1) Telecommunications & Film, and (2) Broadcast Journalism.
It is the primary objective of our curriculum to help develop a knowledgeable and artistically skilled graduate who will be able to pursue an advanced degree and/or a professional career in radio, television, animation, cinema, and/or mass communication research. The program emphasizes the importance of the media in constructing awareness of the multi-cultural composition of society, as well as the media's impact on all aspects of human interaction.
