Welcome everyone to the California State University, Los Angeles Department of Public Safety webpage. The agency is proud to share with faculty, staff, students, the campus community and surrounding agencies our existing status as a nationally accredited agency since November 2001, through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
As a fully certified law enforcement agency, we serve to protect the campus community through various programs and services. Our department consists of two main divisions, University Police and Parking & Transportation Services. Our University Police Services consists of Emergency Management, Investigations, Camera Maintenance, Crime Prevention & Special Events, Lock Shop & Key Distribution, Uniform Patrol, Public Safety Dispatch, Records Management and Public Safety Front Desk which offers Live Scan services and a Lost & Found program. Parking & Transportation Services consists of Parking Enforcement, Field Maintenance, Parking Adjudications, Transit Sales and Commuter Programs.
Cal State LA is fortunate to have a Metrolink Station on campus which offers our campus community with an alternative means of transportation to and from the campus.
